NOS question

I am thinking about buying a NOS setup and i was wondering how it works exactly... You press the button and it applies the full tank or does it do like short bursts? or does it do it work for how long u hold the button?

also i was wondering how where you refill the tank and around how much that cost roughly.

I know nothing about NOS. so i have no idea between wet and dry etc.

it costs anywhere from 3-5 dollars per lb. to fill depending on the area,. most systems run off of a wide open throttle switch which means electronically the nitrous is activated when the throttle is wide open. The term "wet" refers to the kit adding fuel along with nitrous, as oposed to "dry" which doesnt

I'm no expert at NO2, but from what I've read.

As long as you hold the button down, it's spraying (unless you do it right, then it will only let you spray at a certain RPM, then stop when you get to high). Prices, no idea. refills, no idea, maybe a welding shop or a track with a shop? wet injects directly into the cylinder (corrected above^) (i think) and dry just sprays into your intake (again, I think).

Do yourself a favor and pick up a book on nitrous oxide such as SA Design SA50 - SA Design How to Install and Use Nitrous Oxide Injection for Maximum Horsepower - summitracing.com or Motorbooks International 780760308370 - Motorbooks International Automotive Reference Books - summitracing.com

"Wet systems" mix the fuel and nitrous together. "Dry systems" use the fuel injectors for fuel enrichment and spray the nitrous separate. Joey has a carbureted engine so his only option is a wet kit.
