0-500 hp depends on your luck and the t5 lol. No seriously I don't think there's a s set number, Ryan on here is putting a shit load of power through a t5, I have a hci fox with a 200 shot that I've ran on a t-5 for years with zero problems, but I've seen people break em with nothing done???

Just wondering what is your set up now? you say about 320 to the wheels?

Well depends on how much more ya plan to do to the car but a T-5 is a good tranny.

You can get a Tremec TKO 500(rated upto 550HP) or TKO 600(rated upto 650HP)

yea the stock AOD kinda sucks IMO. But could be worse i guess. Also if ya want an auto and plan to really have a lot of HP talk to Sean, he just got one. It will handle high HP and TQ. lvls better, and of course will be faster than a 5 speed, but manuals are more fun IMO.

very true... i honestly have no idea what amount of hp i have because i dont know any of my motor specs. Ide like to get a manual because im just sick of dealing with all the problems i am having with the auto. I dont think i will be hitting the 600 hp range but i am pretty sure im pushing at least 300-400. so you thinka t-5 would be good?

Well like Gotn20, a T-5 is a good tranny. And you can pick on up and rebuild it for pritty cheap. try looking on craigslist, i see them on there a lot.

Also its usually not HP that kills a tranny its usually the TQ.
