24 lbs injectors and a fuel pump...

i have herd from a number of people that doing 24lb injectors with a high flow fuel pump will increase the power of my motor by a nice number along with doing full exhaust too...but my motor isnt that hopped up i mean it is a 93 cobra motor with bigger valaves bord .030 over the gt-40 heads, intake, and the 1.7 roller rockers along with a little bit stouter cam shaft but am running stock ho headers with 2 inch pipes ....do u really think this motor is starving for fuel and wat would be a better jump in power... the fuel pump and injectors or headers an offroad x pipe and some supper 44 mufflers with 2.5 inch exhaust?

an upgraded fuel pump and injector shouldnt hurt. i have 24 pounds in mine. and a1000 fuel pump. change the stock headers they suck and an off road x pipe will give it a nice sound...me personally im goin to stick to my o/r H pipe.

the stock injectors are good to 300hp you are not quite there yet but it wouldnt hurt to go ahead and do the upgrade.. but if you think you are going to want more power in the future you may as well go to 30# ers so you only have to buy em once along with the maf. personally the c&l with the stock sensor and 30# sampeling tube works nicely.

yeah do a full exhaust, including headers, and get a 255lph pump and 24# injectors. The MAF on the 93 cobra motor is calibrated for 24# is it not?

yeah, don't pay extra for a brand name like Holley or BBK because when you get the pump out of the box it will walbro on it and then you'll realize you just paid extra for a window sticker
