What would this look like?
I just got my wheels and rears are 17x10.5 with 27mm offset. I havent got hem mounted yet so i can't tell how they will look.
What will they look like with a sn95 rear axle? How far would they stick out of the wheel wells? |

27 millimeters is equal to 1.06 inches of offset.
The offset of a wheel is the distance from its hub mounting surface to the centerline of the wheel. The offset can be one of three types Zero Offset The hub mounting surface is even with the centerline of the wheel. Positive The hub mounting surface is toward the front or wheel side of the wheel. Positive offset wheels are generally found on front wheel drive cars and newer rear drive cars. Negative The hub mounting surface is toward the back or brake side of the wheels centerline. "Deep dish" wheels are typically a negative offset. with all that useless info being said i think the only way to know is mount them on the car and see

i doubt they will "hang out" of the wheel wells. the factory rear wheels on an sn95 are inset a little more than most people like. Ford claims this is due to axle deflection while cornering. bottom line you should make sure you like the fit of a wheel before purchasing.
