Is it gunna be enough


so I have a friend that really bugs me and I'm ready to end it. He's got a 10:2:1 331 with eddy vc jr heads and mani basic boltons un tuned. He's one of those guys that swears up and down 331 is faster and supperior to 347's. Any ways I have a fresh 302 with shit b cam and world jr heads stock intake that went 14.8 at 95 at 5300 ft. His car did 13.8 106. I have some 205cc tfs heads and a tf trackheat r Mani that I've been waiting to put on a woody 347 but I'm getting impatient. So do you guys think those mods and a tfs2 cam would get me there? Driver mod is me without a doubt. I'm tired of spraying his ass to work him

yeah with that set up and a good driver you should be in the 11's with a good gear and tire

You should be faster but there are so many more variables. I'd look into a different cam though.

most people will tell you to get a costom grind cam. personally i'd stay away from Ford letter cams and call Rick @ Anderson Ford Motorsport. i ran an N-41 in my set up

Are u using the tfs heads and tfs cam on your 302 or 347? to try and beat this guy.

its not a letter cam. its a trickflow stage 2 cam. I was going to get a coustom gring but the specs came out nearly identicle to this one and it was 1/2 the cost.

I want to see if I can skip ahead while I save for the 347 and beat him with a fresh stock 302, tfs 205cc heads, tfs stage 2 cam, tf trackheat r manifold. He thinks his edelbrock set up 331 will beat my tf set up 347 so I'd like to put it to rest and beat him with a trickflow set up 302.

Not right for the combo. 302 parts make 302 horsepower.

Both of you cars seem pretty slow. I have almost same setup as you and I've ran 12.9 with crappy 60's. Is the altitude making that much of a difference.
