let me just say that i am as true a car guy as they come i like pretty much everything that is different but the chevy guys are always running down my mustang so why are they taking my chassis that i like and putting there motors in it oh yeah because they cant find a chevy better thatn my chassis. so i think it is cool but am not a big fan of the swap build a ford motor and put it in there perhaps a all aluminum 4.6 with a turbo.

JB Weld is actually some good stuff. I fixed an intake runner on a head with JB Weld about 5 years ago and the head is still holding up just fine!

I'll guarantee that as fast as this Fox is going to go, they could have gone just as fast on any platform including a f-body.

But they had a Mustang they got for cheap from a friend and the motor is going to cost a lot less than an aluminum 4.6.

Also, the LSX motor is a lot closer in physical size to the pushrod 5.0 motor that came in the car from the factory. Makes for an easier fit.

how do you figure? they have a f-body that runs low 9's on a single turbo and drag radials, a corvette that runs deep in the 10's maybe even 9's (not sure never seen it run), a camaro that runs deep into the 10's on the bottle. google premier autosports. or search it on youtube. they have had many different cars. this is just one more project they are doing to gain more rep for their shop. im sure they could have done any motor they wanted and gained the same as what they will with this car. the LS2 was already at the shop just sittin there and so were the heads so why not? i would have..

LOL I saw a VW Bug the other day with holes in the roof from a ladder rack (yes I said a ladder rack) and the guy had put chewing gum over the holes to keep water from leaking in. (i know it was gum cause they were all different colors) You would think he would have put silicone or just put the screws back in. (or at least used the same color gum) maybe he was trying to find one to match his paint?
