gt 40p heads
I have been looking all over on here and i can't find any info on how much hp i can expect from getting a set of these heads and throwing them on my 88 302. i want to break the 300 hp mark, i have heard this is one of the ways to get there rather cheap

If you're talking 300rwhp yes it's possible, but you will need supporting mods. The heads alone won't take you there, but they are a great improvement over the e7's on a budget. An intake, a cam, some 24# injectors, and a tune can get you there.

id look at some self servace salvage yards. we have a place called pick-n-pull that sells heads for $25 + $12 core each. $74 bucks for a set of GT40P heads, not bad

Just a note for the GT-40P heads. I dont believe they work with your stock headers, so you will need to buy a different set of headers, just FYI.
Hey guys just wondering but ive seen people put 351 heads on there 5.0L. Anyone know if it is an improcment, and by how much? I was just curious. If those are good heads then im sure ya could find those cheap. And maybe just do a home polish on them or something for pritty cheap. But im not sure if they are better or worse, hopefully someone might know, would be interesting to know. |

lol, perhaps a bit
![]() Although StangFreak you could have a little side job here, just get Heads and sell them on here and make a little extra money, or on Ebay. Ive seen people pay upto $300-400 for GT-40 Heads. But of course you would cut us ( the moddedmustangs crew ) a deal

....Ok so maybe i was a bit off, lol.
No but actually i though the P's were more expensive...My bad. But i guess if ya get them for $74 or so and Sell them for $250 + shipping thats still not a bad profit. But im just saying and was kinda joking. Although i did think that they went for more than that. |
