transmission rebuild

Well ran into another setback but i need to have my t-5 rebuilt. Im not looking for a geforce kit or anything like that trying to stay as cheap as possible. I already thought about buying a used tranny but then i might be getting something unreliable or wont last long. Im looking at getting the rebuild kit from FMS. My only concern is if this will fix my current problem. So here goes the explanation:

2nd gears pops out, 4th and 5th are beginning to rattle, 4th and 5th dont seem to "catch" when i try to get on it, normal driving is fine when it comes to the last one but the moment i step on it the car feels like its just doing a slow rev as if the car were in neutral normal like i said the car doesnt do this the moment i push the pedal to floor this happens

badshoeproductions.com buy the t-5 rebuild video and build it yourself.. its easy i have done about a hundred of them.
dont buy any rebuild kits till you watch the video and tear yourse down.. you will save alot of money and when you go to buy parts go here T5 PARTS transmission talk to a guy named terry

i would do that but i really just think its the sycros going bad and i just took my uncle for a ride in the car and he said the other stuff was clutch related so im gonna replace the clutch first hopefully that will fix that last problem then that will give me time to fix the rest of the car then the transmission rebuild.

exactly if it is the syncros going bad that video will show you how to replace them and find out anything else that is wrong with it.. if you can go to 6k and shift geats withoug it grinding then the syncros are fine it is proly the clutch not disengageing which isnt need for a new clutch it just needs adjusted. if the gears feel sloppy and it is popping out of gear that is caused by bent forks,or bad clips, also if your transmission is loose and needs to be shimmed then it could pop out of gear cause the main shaft is wabbeling..
