Clutch Problem
What up people, I bought a King cobra clutch about a year ago, it worked fine untill i got it a new clutch cable and quadrant off UPR. After I put that in the clutch got REAL stiff and snapped the cable. SO i bought it a new Clucth cable/quadrant/and firewall adjuster off BBK......It worked fine but was still a little stiff, and now cable is on its way to snapping.
![]() I am tired of this $@#& I was thinking about going with the Centerforce Dual Friction but I have no idea what cable to go with. What is the best cable out there? I do not want to have to go through this again. LMK what you all think about the Dual Friction any idea how much hp the clutch will hold? |

make sure you have the cable on the right hook on your quadrant. there shouldn't be an issue

From what I hear, the OEM Ford cable is as strong as it gets.
I'm running a UPR quadrant, King Cobra clutch and a factory cable and haven't had any issues. It's been in the car now for three or four summers...
