302 Ranger


What all i neede to put the 302 - 331 into my 90 model ford ranger?...Its going to be a while cause i have to build the block and rearend first.....just thought i would get some ideas from you guys.

swaping the motor mounts and the wiring harness? thats all i have to do? what about the rear end and drive shaft.... its going to be a carb engine and its going to be a weekend truck and draged often so i was gonig to striaght wire it, if thats a good idea?

i think its NHRA rule that you have to have atleast parking lights if you make a pass after dark. you would have to buy the proper mounts for the swap, i think an oil pan for the swap, and headers i know for a fact. i think the stock crossmember will fit without having to modify it. not to sure about the driveshaft either. you can wire it however you like. if its a weekend truck and its going to be carbed thats gonna make things alot easier. google the topic and see what you come up with.
