Have a 89 gt vert that the t-5 works fine during normal driving. When you get on it does not want to go into 2nd without force and some grinding. Does anyone had similiar poblem or have an idea whats wrong?

do you have an aftermarket shifter? If so, adjust your stops.

you have bad syncros do not let it grind till you get them replaced or you will be buying new gears too. 60.00 for new syncros or 60 for syncros and 60-80 for each gear you ruin.

badshoeproductions.com buy the t5 video and do it yourself

1) synchros are worn
2) your clutch is not fully disengaged.

#2 can cause #1.
