I have a friend with an 04 cobra with the big kenne bell that makes 706 to the wheels. Its a fucking monster, My favorite car I've ever ridden in.

A used 03-04 cobra motor is about 6k. The block and internals are good to over 1000hp. The 5.4's are actually less, aside from the new GT blocks because of the added deck height, adds more stress, so its a little more difficult to handle the power. THe 4.6 blocks are pretty strong and can handle the power, they just need new internals. THe problem with the 03-04 cobra rout is I would need the new fuel and computer and everything. Plus the car would need new supercharger so I'm looking at around 10k either way. Sounds like I just need to bite the bullit. Thanks for the info guys.

get another npi (cheap as balls) and build a turbo kit for it. Put about 2 grand in the bottom end to make it last and go from there.
