I didnt drink last night so I could make my 8am appointment to get my car inspected. and they failed it becuase of a missing smog pump. I have had it like this for over three years and none of them ever said shit. I thought missouri was doing away with safty inspections. But instead they are being real dicks this year.

Mine failed emissions in VA because I have a breather and the line removed that runs to the throttle body. I have a S/C so it is better to run it that way. I took the tube and cap from my other Mustang and passed the second time. Frustrating as it actually passed the various sniff test they run at various speeds on the dyno just not the "visual" portion where he noticed that.

Maybe ya just got some D bag Inspector whos just out to prove him self. I dunno though, d oyou have underdrive pullies? Hopefully you still have the original lenght belt and i guess if ya have to perhaps ya can just put it on there for the inspections?

I believe it was Sean who said he keeps his Catted H-Pipe and just puts it on for inspection, maybe you will have to just do the same.

But i mean on the bright side, it could have been worse i guess right?

He has a state license/certification to inspect cars. If he blows that off he could lose his license/cert and then probably lose his job as well. The risk vs reward for cutting "Joe Random" a break is not worth it to him. He is willing to work with you though.
