motor swap
I dont want to keep on planning to drop tons of money into my 5.0 efi to go as fast as i really want to. My plans have changed and i now want to drop a carborated 351w in it, even thow I have already changed the dash and motor harness and computer for my 4 to 8 swap. I was wondering if I can keep my built aod in the car and if the windsor will bolt up. Also what else I will need to change besides the motor mounts and the oil pan?

well, i'd plan on different heads otherwise you wont be much if any faster than with a 302.

how fast do you want to go?
and the 351 and 302 bolt up to the same transmissions and also use the same engine mounts. |

ither route your gonna spend $$$ you will have more power with the 351 but its gnna cost you to backtrack. it will proly end up costing about the same. but the 351 will have more potential.

You could put a turbo on it for about $3,500
More than make your power goals.
