MAJOR Electric Problems!!!

OK so thanks to everyone who helped me find out my problems in the past... i never thanked you but buying a brand new c-4 helped me out of that... ok so now...

for about 3 weeks or so ive been doing a lot of night driving... well sometimes my headlights shorted out and i thought nothing of it at all, so i kept driving on it and it got better... well about a week ago i lost all ac and heating abilities AND my defroster button (on the right of the steering wheel in a 1990) doesnt light up or anything... so i figured ehh ill just wear a sweatshirt... now its getting dangerous.. i was driving home on the freeway when i realized my stereo started turning off and back on (not scary) but i was like man this is weird, so i kept going about 70ish and then BAM my entire car died... mid driving going 70 in OD at about 2k rpm and it just died... i pulled over and started it again and its been CONTINUALLY (sp??) dying as im drivng... ive done ALL that i can to this car (New battery, entire engine checks several times, all new plugs, ETC.) and i have NO idea what this is... im going in monday (its saturday)to a shop to get it fixed but i was wondering if any one else knew what was up... thanks

My old '92 5.0 was doing the same sort of thing and it turned out I had a bad battery cabtle. It was shorting out as the car heated up. If you have already checked that I would say bad chassis ground? Good luck.

+1 on the chassis ground.. your shorting out somewhere and you need to find it before you have some major wire fire problems..

I had a short running along my main power line to the computer that would short out as it heated up, turns out the retard before me wired the electric fans to the computer's power line. Check to make sure there are no buggars in the power lines.
