what are they ?


ok i have a 88 ford pickup motor i bought and i was wondering what heads are they ? would i be so lucky to have gt40's ? ? ? or what are they if not are they better then the e7's i have on my car now ? help would be awesome thanks

The GT40 heads were only on 97.5 and up Explorer 5.0s, right?

hmmm well i asked cuz i am trying to get some power out of my 91 fox so i was wanting to rebuild that 88 pickup motor to put in my 91 .... but if it isn't gonna be a better motor then never mind ....

go to the pull a part and look for em. they will have 4 lines instead of 3? 3 lines being the gt40's. and they will say gt40 on the head by the valve cover.

the 91 mustang motor is way ahead of the truck motor start your build on the mustang motor you already further ahead , leave the truck alone unless your planning on spending alot of money

ya trying to save money ahaha but i just want more power .... i have a cold air and exhaust but its turbo mufflers so its not real loud.....
