lifting engine off of mounts?

lifting engine off of mounts?


im having to remove my long tubes and off road h pipe and replace with stock, im trying to go with the jacking the engine up an inch or 2 out of the mount method but whats the best way to disconect the mounts?

Take off the two large nuts (one each side) that hold the mounts to the "K" member

Why go back to stock at all?

Cant you just put them on for emission and then go back to the O/R H- Pipe and your current setup?

i could but they are really strict about it in california and my car is REALLY loud as it is and id get pulled over and they WOULD look under the hood and under the car for cats and id get a 100000000$ fine

what ever you do, dont lift it by the oil pan!

see if you can find a buddy with a cherry picker.
