Adjustable Clutch

This may seem like a dumb question but how do you Adjust these clutches? My 88 just got a new adjustable clutch and the clutch is really stiff. I wanted to lighten it up a little so that its not as stiff. Thanks

I wouldn't drive it much if the pedal is real stiff. If you put an adjustable cable on it, you can take the dust cover off and loosen up the nut on the cable. The dust cover is located on the driver's side and cover's up the clutch fork.

I am not sure about the firewall adjuster but I know it has an adjustable cable. I would have to ask the previous owner.

Adjusting the cable will not effect how stiff the pedal is. It will only effect where the clutch engages and disengages in relation to the position of the pedal. If you want a lighter feel to the clutch then you are going to have to get a weaker pressure plate(im sure you dont want to do that) have you considered driving the car without using the clutch? My clutch is EXTREMELY stiff. I only use it to get going. I would kill my self if i had to use the clutch every time i needed to shift.
