Talk to Jay Allen and fill out a build sheet...Tell him you have the shortblock and need a custom cam, heads, and he will get you a custom carb from Pro-Systems carbs... He will get you the right heads with the right valvetrain! I just got my custom Jay Allen cam today!

PARKER funnel web intake. coustom cam.if you can afford BRODIX heads those are great but some TFS CNC T/W heads would do great. just make sure you have a really good valve train if you are gonna spin more RPM'S and make sure you have it extreamly balenced and gurdled. the faster it turns the more precise everything needs to be. dont cheap out on the damper and flywheel

Wtf? Why all the hate on wanting to rev a 347? He didn't say he wanted to rev it to 8k+ like a 4 banger. Just more than 6200. Nothing wrong with that if he gets a cam that makes power up there.

Not hating but the number 1 cause of 302 stock block failure is rpm. A stock block would live at 800hp daily if you could it done by 2500 rpm.

i dont have to run it to see what it can do. bill wallace ran a set of brodix heads and a parker intake on a 347 in his crapi it was running really low tens on the motor in the arizona summer heat. none of it was pulled from the box and slapped right on the car he works at the machine shop i am sure there was extensive work done to the intake.
i dont see how they are out of the spectrum of this forum.. the only reason i am not running a set now is cause i couldnt justify spending 900.00 on a set of jesel rockers on this motor but the next 408 will have a set on them. flowing 300 out of the box. if he wants to rev it out he is gonna need something that can take the abuse.
