ECU

1989 with sct chip stock ecu, 5 speed. the ecu is acting up, does anyone know if there is an "upgrade" for the stock ecu (A9L, A9P)? If i get another ecu can i just put the chip in and go?

autozone sells replacement A9L computers. The cobra computer is about the only upgrade but it has just slightly improved fuel and timing curves, the SCT chip should still be better.
