Tranny?
I'm looking at a new tranny but I don't know what I need.

Well how much power are you planning on putting down?

HAHA Well I'm hoping for about 800-900hp. Hoping. I'm going to be running a 331 or a 408 dart block built to the teeth. I'm wanting to have a fun but still able to drive it when ever. Also I'm going to buy the 5 lug, and baer brake kit with running 315 in the back and 245 in the front. I'm thinking about running a 9 inch in the back or maybe just a 31 spline and stock 8.8 rear end. Going to run a t76 turbo or one bigger for the big power adder. But I don't know. Any help

A Powerglide is a GM 2 speed transmission. Works well with high horsepower and/or light cars. Powerglides can be built to handle alot of power and are a pretty efficient automatic transmission. A GM TH400 would be my next choice......or a Liberty or Jerico manual trans.

A C4 won't hold that kind of power and last for any length of time.
