Tranny?

I'm looking at a new tranny but I don't know what I need.

Link of one I think I want and need? What do you guys think?

Well how much power are you planning on putting down?
List your mods that you have or the mods your going to do.
You'll get better help that way.

HAHA Well I'm hoping for about 800-900hp. Hoping.

I'm going to be running a 331 or a 408 dart block built to the teeth. I'm wanting to have a fun but still able to drive it when ever. Also I'm going to buy the 5 lug, and baer brake kit with running 315 in the back and 245 in the front. I'm thinking about running a 9 inch in the back or maybe just a 31 spline and stock 8.8 rear end. Going to run a t76 turbo or one bigger for the big power adder. But I don't know.

Any help

A Powerglide is a GM 2 speed transmission. Works well with high horsepower and/or light cars. Powerglides can be built to handle alot of power and are a pretty efficient automatic transmission. A GM TH400 would be my next choice......or a Liberty or Jerico manual trans.

A C4 won't hold that kind of power and last for any length of time.

Not going to happen with that much power. A Jerico, Liberty or Lenco or a heavily worked Tremec are your only hopes. Either way you won't have an overdrive and street driving will be a pain in the ass.
