you probably wont find any type of centrifugal s/c, and i doubt you will find a kenne bell for a 5.0, you will probably find a bunch of Pontiac`s with a supercharged 3800.

The best S/C for you would be on a 5.0. I wouldnt bother with a $50. S/C. Also i wouldnt bother with anything other than something Made for the Mustang 5.0
If you are looking for any other kind of S/C that you COULD make work on your Mustang it would be the Eaton M90. But honestly its just not worth it. I almost did it, but after a few weeks of heavy research i decided to not do it. It would involve a lot of custom work as well as the tuning process would be hell. Plus if you have any upgrades it wouldnt add enough fuel to your set up unless you got new screws (So Not Worth It). But i can go on and on if you are interested but just saying your best bet and least worries would be to get a S/C for a Mustang 5.0 86-93. If you buy them new they come with warranties which is great. Or a used one, ask us and do some research but ya can find them for about $1500 complete- used, sometimes. If you have more questions let us know but i would say 99.9% you wont find a 5.0 mustang S/C kit worth buying in a junk yard. |
