sn95 just passed the sniffer test!

the newbie wanted to say thanks to this forum for the info that I found. After doing what I learned here, the H.O. 5.0 finally got past one of the toughest testing centers in Az.

After moving to AZ. from the N.W. , I hate the place! Ya gotta have a 67 or earlier to be exempt.

67 thats crazy...i have never seen a emissions test. I think Louisville used to have them, but thats the closest i have been to one!

I agree! Az. probably has the toughest sniffer testing ( next to Cali. ) I had a 1976 Monza V8 ZO1 with a dual exhaust and no cats when I brought here...I had to replace the exhaust and cats to pass the state patrol inspection and the snffer! This place sucks for a guy that likes performance.

yeah what is a sniffer test? We dont have them south of newnan georgia. If we did then my cobra would not pass. lol

Its not so bad here in NJ. I just took my car as soon as I got it and it was all stock. Passed w/ flying colors... than deleted smog, etc. lol. Dont have to go back for another two years!
