Rims question and show.


I know this has probably been asked before, but i couldnt find them, so if you guys would just bare with me. im getting ready to order rims and stuff for my car (90 lx 5.0) it has all the stock stuff on the rear end except gears. soo could you guys suggest a good quality, but budget friendly upper and lower control arm kit? and also im wanting some big meats in the back, i want weld 15x10 with 6 1/2 " backspacing. ill role the finders and stuff will the fit with quads gone and the new control arms?.....thnx for the help guys.

upr makes some nice control arms, thats wat ive got..im not sure of fitment on earlier 5.0 sorry

Well what do you plan to do with the car? You could could look at Adjustable control arms as well. But they are more expensive so for now we will say you dont want them, so for the most affordable set i would say these.

1979-2004 Mustang Rear Upper & Lower Control Arms in Red at Blue Oval Industries for your Ford Mustang @ Blue Oval Industries

They are Tubular and pritty well made, so i have heard several times. For the price its hard to beat them. If anyone here uses them or can back them up pleas say so.

But im sure they will do the job for an affordable price.

As for the tires in the back, its hard to say, Whats the tire size? 275? Do you know? Do you plan to use spacers or anything? And do you want it looking flush with the front tires? Also Stock springs?

no it has 1 1/2" lowering springs. its mostly straight line stuff, race wise. 275 or lager, i just want that mean and aggresive stance. but i dont want toothe pick wheels in the bck i want the tire to fit in the finder.

my cars dropped 1 and 1/2 inch but i dont have drag lites, and i do have 275s on the rear, no rubbing at all
