What heads to go with an F303 cam?

I have a guy who is willing to sell his f303 cam to me for 80 bucks. I figure thats a good deal. I wanted to cam my engine and I think this would be a good start as far as being cost effective. What Heads could I run with this cam and also Rockers? I am looking into AFR and TW heads. Now mind you, I know JACK about lift degrees and all the other nubers. LOL. Still learning the relationship. But I want to run an F cam with a good head. What do you guys think?

If your using ford parts allready like the cobra intake plus that fcam, just go with gt40ps on some 1.6 roller rockers. While you down their get some hardend pushrods, and maybe some fresh lifters. And u can run bbk headers on the gt40's. I have an fcam gt40ps and a cobra intake my self. Just go buy some 1993 cobra plugs. I think the plug boot on cylinder 7 will burn up. Get the 90 degree boot from the dristibutor side of the spark plug wire and and take off the normal boot and put it their. That way you have two 90 degree boots. Thats what I did atleast.

We finally got it to idle, drove it around to make sure it wouldn't over heat or anything; their seemed to be no problems in that department. Didn't get to fix my floating idle before a rocker arm bolt broke. I beleive it was on an exhaust valve. So it started backfiring through the intake. Tried to drill it out of the head on the car yesterday but the bit broke off in the bolt when I went to back it out. Ganna have a mechanic fix that, get my power steering working. I'm buying my chip, and 255 this week. Late november early december blower and tune fo shooo!

LOLOL...93Hatch- Gotta start somewhere and since i am still learning, I will be borrowing a lot of you guys combos. Until I learn better.

So you can just get a boot for the plugs and it will work? I have found a lot of great deals on the GT40 heads but heard so much about the header isues.

She is running good. I have to Change to belt because the Alternator pulley screw came off and the pulley moved....and you guess it, split the belt. So I am replacing that right now.

hahahah na dude its the typical budget combo! gt40's apparently dont have the spark plug issue of gt40p's, those are 2 diff heads, similar but not the same

Just that one cylinder like I said. But the the side of the sparkplug that goes onto your distributer uses a 90 degree boot, just rip one off, and put it were the normal boot goes after taking the normal boot off.

Well, That would be a great budget. There are guys selling them for around 250-300 and then I can pick up a cam for 80, then another 100 for some rockers. Nice. How much of an gain do you think that would be?

You will prob make 260 to possibly 280 maybe 290. But expect 270. I think thats what 93 hatch made. If your motors in good condish assuming. Somefoxes are old and just dirt slow. The motor that came in my 93 with intake exhaust and 3:55's prob would of ran a 14.8 at 92 if I was lucky. But on a slick you should be a 12.90 car then maybe some 11.90s if you get on the spray.

Nice...That works. That doesnt look too bad at all.

Those are decent numbers. My goal right now is 12sec. It has 75K on the motor so its in good shape as far as I can see. I order soem Nitto DR for the rear yeaterday. Wondering how they will hook. The Spray is definitely coming soon.
