yes,. you'll achieve more power with an intercooler,. but in your case,. the vortech will be fine all day

so lets say igo no intercooler for a few months runnin 8-10 psi i should be fine even on i 140000 engine and no intercooler? it is still strong as most foxs are. o and also is the intercooler soully for the lower intake temps for more power? not to be safer correct?

at the lower 5-6 psi,. its not as much of a problem,.. upon heading to the higher boosts it becomes more of an issue

that kit's only rated to 275hp,.. injectors may not be necessary,. the pump would be a good idea though,. 255'er

also, how much safe it will be at a certain PSI of boost is entirely up to the tune. you could run 3 PSI and have a shit tune and blow the motor. by adding boost you add the amount of air that goes into the engine therefore justifying the need for more fuel. if you dont compensate for the added air you will lean your motor out and more than likely fry the pistons. get a walbro 255 and one size up injectors to be safe and get it tuned. 6-10 PSI should be fine as long as the tune is safe and you have enough fuel.

I get about 11psi on a V1 S-trim with no intercooling on a Ford crate motor (not much different than the production 5.0 engine). Holding up so far. My current "tune" is safe with 1.25-1.5 degree timing retard per pound. If I do anything else, I might consider a methanol kit and reducing the retard.

the 19# injectors are only rated to 225 if anything you need to go with some like 30# so that u have room to improve, u will need a pump and injectors. u can make power all day but a car with slicks gears and a high stall some suspension and the basics will probroly take u all day. putting down times is more than just high hp and torque

so a car with stall and gears will take me all day at 5 psi and 373s? im just confused i guess are u saying that i just should get a set of injectors? i know that i just wandered how necesary it was at first. plus its a street car u can prolly tell that by my avie so im not to worried about gettin beat i just want a clean s/c install w injectors and fuel pump. then add as i have money.
