Hazard lights Flicking

Need help guys....When I first split my old belt on the car, I put the hazards on while I was working on the the car on the street. Well eventually the battery died. ONce I got the right belt, alternator, and charged battery......It seems that the Hazards still click for a minute then shut off. They do that every few minutes or so. Any ideas of what the problem could be? How can I stop this?

Ok. I just read that it could be because of the alarm thats on the car. When I plug the battery up the alarm was going off. SO I took the ground off and then hooked the battery back up. SO now that I have everything done I think the computer still thinks the alarm is on and that is the clicking. I am going to plug it back up and use the key to see if that will do the trick. The guy I read about just used the key and that reset things. So we will see.

Found the problem guys...It was the alarm. Something trigger the alarm at some point. So that is why it was clicking...Plugged it up and then hit the off button and that did it. Thanks guys.
