GOT HER BACK TOGETHER(for the most part)

got my converter back today from redneck performence (2 nd converter) took it stright to the machine shop and put it on the lathe to see if everything was centerd this time. everything looked pretty good. got home put everything in it starts up fine doesnt seem to vibrate anymore just a little from the roar of the motor and the solid mounts but i think its fine i am gonna bring it to the machine shop tomorrow to have the owner check it out.

my car no longer leans to the left after the new control arms and bushings. though my alignment is off now after changing the front bushings my steering wheel sits crooked even though i didnt adjust with the tie rods but i am going to take it to the shop to have an alignment done its lifetime alignment for 89.00 so ill just take it back when i get the new rack.

well i am not going... it is still effin vibrating.... so after 2 converters and 2 flexplates it still does the same shit starts vibrating about 2700 and gets worse as the rpm's go on,

there are only 2 things left it could be ither the transmission itsself or the rotating assymboly was balenced to the flywheel but i will narrow it down this weekend. i am going to bolt the transmission up without the converter in it. if it still does it its the flexplate needs to be mtched to the old flywheel. if it doesnt then its the transmission itsself.

What does it do when you rev it in neutral? Is the vibration only felt as you drive under a load. I would think if you can feel it in neutral or park the problem is on the engine side. When did the vibration begin?

it vibrates when sitting there in neutral and driving. there is only a few things that it can be the flywheel, the converter or the transmission

it had no problems prior to switching it to an automatic.

i have had 2 differnt flexplates in it (yes they are the correct weight) and 2 differnt converters. the only things it can be ither the transmission itsself ot what i think it is, when the rotating assmboly was balenced it was balenced to the flywheel and the flywheel was a cheap one and proly was not standardized so when i switched to a differnt flxplate it threw it off.

i will find out when i put the transmission back in with no converter and if it still vibrates then that is it and it will be an easy fix ill have my buddy send me my flywheel back and i will have my new flexplate matched to the old flywheel.

if it doesnt vibrate then i send the transmission back.

well me and james pulled it back out for the 4th time this time we put it back up without the converter and it still vibrates so that narrows it down to the flexplate and flywheel not being matched... i dont see how that is possible beings they are both 28oz but the flywheel was a cheapie and the rotating assymboly was balenced to it so we should be able to just match the flywheel and flexplate and it should solve the problem so ill keep you updated..
