looking at a 95 cobra and need advice

Well i found a guy who wants to trade me his 95 cobra for my camaro. Now don't go on bashing me about having a Camaro please. But anyways theirs a few things about it that scare me. First off its has a carb on it. Which what would be some bad things about that? If any? Also its got a 347 stroker motor in it. Now dont get me wrong that's totally awesome but thinking in reality is it going to have a lot of problems? Its fully forged and its got Probe pistons, Eagle H-beam rods, Trick Flow Stage II cam, Canfield aluminum heads. So would it still be reliable and a decent daily driver? Also is it hard to put in a speedometer cable?

i have a carb'd 306 and im not expecting great numbers as far as gas mileage (currently in iraq) but i am switching back to efi when i return. not to hard to swap back. do you have any idea where the block was bought or where it was done? man that sounds like a beastly set up! i wouldn't pass that up

Whats done to the camaro? It seems odd to trade something that supposedly kinda built for some thing else.

its a 94, basically every bolt-on, small cam, and valve terrain. Its an older guy and he wants a little more practical car thats still fast, rather than a street racer mustang.

honestly i would keep the camaro... if you want a mustang you could probably sell the camaro for 7-8k and build a stang yourself that you know exactly what you have. that way you don't get surprised later.

best of luck with what ever choice you make though

If your worried about how to put on a speedo cable then i think you need to pass.....you need more of a hands off car

if the car was built properly and has low miles then it can be a hands off car as well... but i doubt that's the case.

I can't understand why this "older guy" would want to pick his ass up off of the ground every time getting in and out of camaro? Sound odd to me.
