transmission
Whats going on guys
I just purchased a 95Gt with a automatic transmission it has 110,000 miles. When i'm driving the car it feels like its taking to long to change gears. When i reach 3000 rpms it shifts but its like its draging. Also the transmission mount is wore out could this have anything to do with? I changed the fuild to see if that would fix the problem but that did not work. PLEASE HELP

Sounds like you are going through the same headaches I am. My shift trouble s were fixed by replacing the transmission speed sensor. Which I thought solved all my troubles . But I now have a shudder or vibration that is excessive. In research these tranny problems are common for fords and there is a TSB out that state to flush the tranny and torque converter to remove all the old fluid and replace with MERCON V.

So you think i should check the speed sensor?Also where do they sell that tsb?
MERCON V is what i have in the trans now |

TSB is just an acronym for ford techs on troubleshooting
