Stock rear gear ratio?
Trying to find out my stock gear ratio, For some reason i thought they all came with 308s then i read about some 273, no tag on door, can i tell from VIN? Im kind of thinkin might have 273 because I can drive like 160km/hr (100mph) at like 2000 rpm approx and cruisin on highway at 100km/hr i almost have to be in forth gear, hit 5th gear around 120 km/hr. Anyways of thinkin if i de in fact have 273s i think my first mod should be a gear change!!

they came with either 2.73,3.08 or 3.27s there should be a tag on the diff that will say for example 2L73 for a 2.73 with limited slip and so on.

in 4th at 2000rpm with 2.73 56mph
3.08 49mph 3.27 46mph

273s or 308s either way i'd grab some 373s

4th gear 2000 rpm is 90 km/hr, which is 56.25 m/hr so i guess 273s? so 373s should be one hell of an improvment
