air injection check valve??
alright so i was changing the spark plugs and i guess i hit my air check valve i didnt notice until then but the people i bought it from deleted it so my question is if i just leave it open will it hurt the engine or gas i have a cam in it and it chops way harder with it open so im not sure? thanks in advance

well luckily the part number was on it and searched that back to the ford website and it says its the air injection check valve which ive never heard of

its on the pass. side like theres a pipe that comes around the back of the engine and it runs into this air injection check valve theres more to the system but the delelted it so id have to buy those new parts too so id rather just find out if i can leave it open

If you blow into the check valve lightly, it is a great makeshift turkey call.
