Need Direction with mods.


Hey guys looking to spend som money. I have about 700 to spend. What do you guys advise for my next step? Still on a budget build right now so more for my money would be great. LOL.

Current mods:
302, Cobra upper and Lower, Stock heads and Rockers, Intake,UDP's,BBK 1 5/8 Shorties with Flowmaster Dumps, SMog Delete, Timing advanced to 14 degrees, Lowered 1.5, BBK CAI, 70MM TB and EGR, NITTO DR's coming Monday. I think thats it.

NExt Step?

well already have gears...Forgot to add that. I have a set of 3.73's in there. What would the increase on the P heads be?

average from i read is about 260whp without full boltons and 275ish with, i need to get my shit on a dyno

Hmmmm...OK. Not bad at all. Trying to get into the 300 zone without going into the motor but still on a budget. Well as close as I can with the the Nitrous or Vortech jus yet.

Well that is going to lead me to saving up another 600 or so. I am looking for a good dry kit as well. But If I can do it without the spray and some expensive heads then that will work. To be alittle more specific, I am looking to run in the 11's low 12 on a budget.

Yea, I thought about that. That would be nice 600 dollar fix. If I can find both of those used. Then just replace the tires.

Would a MAF calibrated for 30#'s with 30#'s do me any good? Also what are some suspension mods that can be done with simple tools in the garage? I am not a mechanic but I know the basics and so on. Nothing I couldnt figure out with the right equipement.

pull off the front sway bar... helps alittle on traction and weight..but sacrifice handling.

Didnt think so..Well I guess at this point I should be looking into lightening the load I guess, other then Spray for right now.

+1 thats what u need to do..also throw a set of subframe connectors on with some rear control arms...and after u do the heads and cam , then u can go for the 30's with a maf and get a tune..but dont buy some cheap shit, do it right the first time..
