checked trouble codes help please
hey there everyone, i let my stang warm up really good and then done the KOEO test and I got a code 67, Neutral Safety, then a 85 Canister Purge circuit failure, what is this?? And what does a car do when it is bad? I dont' have cats, I don't have smog hooked up.. please let me know.. Thanks.. 91 gt stang 306 ..

I got the same code NSS open, I can not find out why it is?. I don't think it cause's any problems though

i believe the 67 code means you had your car in gear. i think you need it in neutral or park when doing the test or could mean you had your a/c on during the test.

yeah got the 67 cleared apparently it was just something crazy, that is the clutch neutral safety switch, anyway my car was in neutral, but when i retested the only thing I got was a 85 now, so I am guessing that is something to do with the smog canister, Oh well i will work through it.. Thanks everyone
