Just like the statement says weird vibrations and pinging. It's a stock engine and I have not yet checked the timing cause lately I pretty much go to bed after work cause of some loooooooooong days. It doesn't allways ping though, not when it's cold usually and a couple times I've back out and gave it gas again and it stopped. I'm sure the od has clicked atleast once, it has alot of leaks and such. The rockers are getting a little noisey and it doesnt run completely smooth almost like a miss but other times I'd swear some times that it feels like something is unbalanced and no not a ujoint can raise the r's and listen to the exhaust and it'll sound constant but yet shakes while not moving. I have code 41, and a couple others that are pretty recent. Friday night sat morning is all the time I got to work on it before I leave the west coast for a couple weeks to go to a course so I'm looking for ideas where else to look after I check the timing and do a visual on the balancer and lines. I think it's going lean to cause the ping as it loses power and doesnt smoke like a over fueling prob but duno if it's a small vacuum leak some where or if it could be a fuel issue? The vibes dunno just going to look around and see if I can see any thing. So from any personal experiences that any of you had so similar problems I'm all ears.

I wanna add though while doing the koer it ran dead smooth briefly while the comp did it's thing which I thought was really weird. Injector problem maybe?

True, I'm just very short on time, cause of work I'm getting up at 0245 and going to bed a couple hours after I get released so 6 to 7 pm. Just trying to think things out first so I'm just not dazing off at the maze of lines and such. I'm pretty sure the cats are clogged and a few other things. This one is deffinetly a project. My goal is to get it to pass smog just so I can get the base sticker then get rid of the smog stuff.
