Cold Start Problem Sovled...weird..

whats up guys i had posted something a day or so ago about my car acting weird on a cold start. I'm not sure if it was due to bad gas or what the problem was. But it idled awful and had a bad miss in it. sputtered and wouldn't hardly stay running until it got to normal operating temp. Well today my tank was close to empty so i filled back up and the problem seems to have gone away. would bad gas cause all those problems??? or do you think it could just be another intermittent problem??

it was plenty of gas in it when it started doing it...about 3/4 of a tank

mine would idle up to like 2000 then the check engine light would flash a few times and the idle would slowly come down until the car died. i had to start it and hold the rpms at 2000 just so it wouldn't stall. but like i said it was like a totally different car once it got to the N in NORMAL. it runs perfect.

Did you read the codes? How old gas was it? If its over half year old, it could possibly make something like that because time does affect to it.

nah it was just pumped a few days ago....but i can't answer how long they had it..but it was at a pretty populated shell station. so i'm sure it wasn't too old...and nah i haven't had time to get the codes checked.
