Quick block question
Can a machine shop remove rust from the deck and bores, and it still be useable?

If it's not to bad they can hot tank it and do a lite hone on the bores.

Thanks guys. A friend is letting me have his short block, but it's been sitting outside or a month or so and has some rust. I'll hopefully be pulling it later next week.
