That's way too much to pay for a stockish pump and to have it installed... i'd do it myself or with a friend and make sure you drain the tank before you atempt this haha it'll be way to heavy.

if ur gonna buy a new put when u put the motor in just buy a bigger one now, it cant hurt it at all and saves u time and money later.. and that price is fuckin ridiculous like everyone said..its very easy to change a fuel pump..and i would clean all the shit out of the tank while ur at it..

You can cut a hole in the trunk. You won't believe this but the oil change guy at a shop I worked at need his fuel pump changed in a early 90's camaro. I can't remember the exact details but I think you have to remove the rear end to get the fuel tank out. So the shop manager brought up the idea of cutting a hole in the trunk to access the pump. He was able to convince the kid to cut a whole in his trunk to access the pump. The pump was so close to the body that he could not remove the lines and ended up having to lower the tank to get the pump out. He didn't have to remove the rear though so I guess mission accomplish. The shop manager was laughing about it all day it was so funny. It took almost all day to do the job because he kept trying to think of ways of doing it with out removing the rear end. It would have taken the same amount of time or maybe less if he did it the right way.

use some kind of strong cleaner and shake it around and maybe make some kind ot bendable things with a rag attached to rub inside and rinse out with the cleaner ..then let it sit and dry in the sun..not sure to wat cleaner..maybe carb cleaner or somthin..maybe somone will give a suggestion..i would think carb or throttle body cleaner..but it would take alot..

Did you make sure that the fuel pump relay is good and that the (whatcha call it) fuel cutout switch in the back hatch or trunk area isn't tripped?

Changing the stock pump is easy.....really easy.

Why would you run an Aeromotive A1000 pump with a stock tank, stock pump and stock lines? That is the biggest waste of $320 that I have ever heard of.
