Should not be that difficult. Install pump and hook up lines. Do you have to replace the rack also? You might need a power steering pump pulley installer/remover tool.

pull up the tensioner pulley take the belt off, and bolt up the pump. Hook up the lines, and make sure you have that metal piece with the spring in the reservoir or it will not work.

if it's converted to manual then you have a manual rack in the car... you'll need to yank the rack and install the power rack besides bolting up the power steering pump, connecting the lines, bleeding the system and getting the right sized belt. I have manual steering in my daily driven 88 hatch and love it. Only down side is when your not moving it takes some strength to turn the wheel but using the clutch a little helps with that.

Power to Manual swap netted me 31lbs I believe if I remember right

Oh yeah and you'll also have to buy some power steering tie rods because there longer then the manual or vice versa I forget but either way you can't use one with the other
