Heater core

Hey I was wondering if my heater core is going bad, when I turn on my heater I smell antifreeze but my passanger side floor board does not get wet. Do you think that its still the core?

yes it might be a very small leak but only will get worse.that heater core takes around 7 hours to do so make sure it gets done right and put in a good heater core like an oem Ford/motorcraft one.

i think mine is having the same problem, when i got my car the heater core was bypassed, and on a rare cold Houston day lol, i reconnected the line and it smelled inside like anti-freeze, then steam started coming out the vents.

And be prepared to have patience. Taking apart the interior/dash will be a pain, but don't get pissed at it and start ripping shit out. Trust me.
