302 to 306 conversionTFS-K514-350370B. Unfortunately the car doesnt run right now. The brAND NEW Optima battery I put in keeps draining and the car wont start I had the alternator changed and now Im going to do the starter. Where would the best place to start be? Im looking to spend around $5000 for this setup. Does that seem reasonable for what I want to do? I am just starting to work on the engine. any advice would be very helpful thanks craig |

If all your going to do is the 306 with a TFS kit the stock block would suffice. A rotating assembly from CHP or the likes would be the way to go. If you plan on a power adder w/ the 306 then you should look into an aftermarket block IE.. DART, Man of war, or the new boss block. Good luck w/ it.
