The rear brakes are fine and don't need upgrading but the front ones can easily be upgraded with rotors, calipers, pads, and lines from a '94-'98 Cobra.

Even a set of power stop rotors from summit and braided lines will be a huge improvement

I'm in the same situation except with my 01 V6. Do the same suggestions still hold true?

look on ebay for R1 concept rotors....and then find some nice brake pads and some steel lines

yes the cobra upgrade will bolt on to all mustangs, 94-04, as long as you have at least 17" rims. that's the best way to go.

The 99+ PBR brakes are good upgrade too. The dual piston calipers are made out of aluminum and are light as hell.

HAWK HPS brake pads, best money Ive spent on brakes yet, 145 to 60 fast enough to make you freek and no brake fade at all, and thats on stock calipers and rotors. best bang for the buck imo
