possibly new to the sn95 family..
hey guys i've be around the 5.0 foxbody forum for a while now with a couple different cars...but im going this weekend to pickup my new car..i figured hell the weathers starting to clear up around here and i might be moving south anyways so i wanna get another..
heres what i found 1995 5.0 5spd 117,xxx miles, its red w/ black leather interior has gt40 heads, cobra upper and lower, 65mm tb, 65mm maf, 24lb injectors, mac shorties, mac o/r h and a flowmaster cat-back..and it has cobra r wheels..thats pretty much it.. and well i've had too many of those exhaust set-ups...what ones sound the best for the sn95 5.0's? im thinking LTs, o/r x and idk what catback though... also what are some good starting mods to go with on this..?? thanks guys

oh yeah well the bra will be coming off..but im trading my winter car, a 97 4dr tahoe, 4X4 w/ a vortec 350 in it...with 158,000 miles on it plus 1200 cash...
yeah i have a got a lot planned for it.. quick question...will a set of 87-93 tailpipes fit on a 94? i have a set of flowmaster tailpipes from something awhile ago, 2 1/2" but the tips where chrome and rotted off..so i cut off all rust section and welded up a set of summit 3.5" tips onto it...and wanna know if they would bolt on...cuz i've decided im gunna do this set-up MAC LT's VRS o/r x-pipe spintech prostreets w/ LX style tailpipes

What the hell are you asking these questions for. You, darrell, and woody are the ones that talked me into the setup I am doing on my 95. You know what you are doing.
Pssh Noobs lol

no dope i meant more in the visual sections..its still the same damn drivetrain... my only real question is about the tailpipes..i have some nice SLP 3 1/2" tips that i wanted to weld up to a set of 2 1/2" tailpipes...and i have like 4 sets for 87-93's...

G
And to the OP I feel you on the flows man... Good to change it up. I personally thing 3,5" tips would look overkill on an sn95 so I would stick with the2.5's

heres some of it before the cleaning..i detailed it inside and out for 3 hours..and i have all the center caps..
![]() ![]() its got a 160k on it..but i've done a complete tune up on it, replaced every fluid, put in new head gaskets, new (OEM) exhuast, new fuel pump and filter and lines, new brake lines. turned the rotors and cut the drums and put all new shoes, pads and hardware in the brakes..and put new tires on it..never had one problem..runs and drives mint..and 4X4 works awesome..i kinda figured i was taking a little hit
