Visual Mods to Sn95's

hey im new to the sn95s and idk whats out there..only messed with foxes and new edges...

im not a huge fan at all of the look of the sn95's from the back due to the spoiler and taillights...what are my options..

also the cars got 18X9 cobra r's on it..there okay but im gunna do black fr500's...i like the look of wide a$$ tires...so which will fit better?? 17X10.5 with 315/35's or 18X10's with 285/35's....im just doing 9" wide of either 17s or 18s..

fat tires on the back make the rear end of these cars look really good. if I were you, I would leave the tail lights, because the horizontals are unique to the 94-95 5.0's... If you don't like the stock spoiler, I would recommend switching to a saleen style wing...

^^ that's not my car by the way, i just pulled the pic from a google image search to show you the spoiler
the black fr500's are an excellent choice IMO... I would do the 18x10's with a 285 tire because if you go any wider than that you will have to remove the quad shock or add a wheel spacer to fit it in there. i put 17x10.5" bullitts on mine with a 275 tire, and it barely fits. after putting the 17's on it, I really think that i should have done 18's to fill that wheel well a little bit more... the next time i've got a grand laying around (it's gonna be awhile since i just got a fresh paint job, lol) i'm going to pick up some chrome 18x10 saleens.

that was one of the things that sold me on mine no rear spoiler. I like the way these cars look with no spoiler at all

not a big fan of no rear spoiler, unless its on a dark colored car...as far as looks my suggestion would be the following.

94-95 Cobra Wing
94-98 Cobra Front bumper
96-98 Tail light conversion
95 Cobra R Hood
Clear corners
Also depending on what color the car is it looks good on the back bumper there is a small line that seperates the bumper at the bottom fill that boxed off section in with black unless its a black car paint it white.
315's out back make it look wide.
18 inch rims and lowered about 2 inches. and you'll have a sick looking car.

I have chrome Altezza taillights that look similar to the '96-'98 versions, and I've also removed the rear spoiler (7lb) since I took the pic in my sig.

sorry im not a fan of euro taillights at all..and the no spoiler i like on 99+ and thats about it..

i really like this saleen spoiler...and i think im gunna do the 3.5" cobra r hood too..and cobra front bumper..

im still tossed on taillights..i dont think i like either of the 94/95 or the 96-98's...but i dont like the euros..i found a set of taillights that look kind of stock but are carbon fiber..idk yet though..

and about tires...im leaning a hole lot towards the 18X10 fr500's w/ 285/45's...im gunna remove the quad shocks eventually..i plan on lowering it really only about an inch or so..

that sounds like an awesome list... if you are still a little unsure of how the tail lights will look, i'm getting mine smoked sometime next week (tentatively, probably tho) and i'll have my "black beauty" headlights on there by then too... i'll take some pics prob the following week and get them up here for ya...

I am not a fan of the euros either but mine came with clears and they were all "foggy" from the weather and the salt from living on the beach. I was going to get new ones and my painter wet sanded and sprayed them with clear and they look brand new and with my color i liked they way they turned out. I dont like red or yellow on top of that orange it looks HORRIBLE. Now I want to find the 3rd brake light cover in clear and either get the side reflectors on the back made in clear or have him shave them but I dont want him to have to repaint but I wish i would have shaved them. I shaved all the other emblems except the 2 side ones that used to be cobras and I am putting the originals or the ones that say 347. I like that saleen spoiler a lot. I am trying to set some time aside to get back on my car there is a new guy in town with a z28 with the mufflers cut off and he thinks he has the fastest car here. I said to him when I get my car out of the shop we will have to run them. he said what kind of car. I told him 95 mustang 5.0 auto and he laughed and said bring a lot of money.....and him and his girl started laughing.....Oh I cant wait and the funny part is gonna be when its my wife driving and smokes his ass

MX... that is a hot color man! Your car looks sweet as sh*t! When are you hoping to have your motor back in it? 347 right? what are you hoping for number-wise??

yeah 347. just waiting to have a chance to drive to Mexico City, thats the only place with a machine shop capable of doing it and the guy I talked to knew everything down to the name brand so I trust him and he has built some cars that have world records. Woody (fordstrokers) put together my combo and jay allen did the cam and got a valve body and other parts to beef up the tranny from dan at clickclickracing, a stall built by alan at dirtydog and they all said I should be around 450 to the wheels. I may run a 100 shot with it but not sure gotta see what numbers it makes first

projectors headlights look so outta place on an sn95 stang. i would seriously avoid those. maybe look into the cobra headlights. they have a little different looking inside to them. otherwise, i dig your list. back when i had my 98 gt, my goal was to make it look like a 95 cobra r replica. those are the most sexy sn-95's!!

thanks will for the compliment on the color I love it too, but it looks a LOT better in person in the pics you cant see but it has a shitload of silver flake and a ton of pearl. It changes colors of orange when its outside its pretty cool. I have to give props to my favorite Italian (he is the best painter I have ever seen) he pays so much attention to detail. you can see some in the pics but I need to get some better ones, the engine compartment he even painted the damn hydraulic struts that hold the trunk lid open silver to match the wheels and the side vents and hood vents (the little mesh looking inserts)also

what options do we (us 94-98 stangs) have for rear bumper covers? what im thinking is like on the 99-04 GTs, how they have the exhaust cut outs in the bumper. do we have any tasteful (non rice) options there?
