Post a pic of the engine bay. From the look of the pic above, it's clean.

I ordered a set of 16 ARP safety locking bolts. I used to be an aircraft mechanic, until Sept 11 knocked me out of a job with US Air, so I know all about safety wiring bolts on jet engines.

Here are the bolts that I bought! I think they will do the trick!

Looks pretty clean, but I hope you trim the safety wire up

This is not my headers or my safety wiring job!

I found this photo on the Ford Racing Website. I just sent an example photo
of the bolts that I ordered and how the wire passes through the ARP Bolt
Heads, just like they do on aircraft engines.

On the photo, the safety wire job is half finished. The way it looks in the photo
would never pass an aircraft inspection.

All engine bolts on airplanes are safety wired to prevent them from falling out in flight.

That would be a bad thing!

I'd cancel the order on those bolts and order yourself some Stage 8 locking header bolts. I'm sorry I just think the wire makes it look cheap. Good luck and have fun with her.

The saftey wiring job will not look cheap when it is complete and installed the right way.

The photo above is only showing a half finished example. The photo is just showing how the wire goes throught the bolt heads, but he has not tied the other end of the wiring
off yet, and cut the ends of the wire to make it look nice.
