3.73 to 3.55

not likely. all you'll get is a disappointment cuz your car wont feel as quick. don't do it.

I'd have to agree, probably wouldn't make enough difference to bother, and like he said you would probably be dissapointed

and last time i checked ppl dont drive Mustangs for MPG!

buy a beater truck... drive it everyday an make ya car badazfuck!

yea i know. i just bothersom knowing my brother mach 1 get 25 and could get more with basic bolt-ons and be faster and my freind has an 03 cobra with bolt-ons and gets 18 to 25 mpg and he i pushing over 600rwhp and i am only getting 10 mpg. oh and they both have 3.55s and have plenty of take off.

well they also have 4v's... which perfrom alot better and our more efficent..

5.0s are 215hp..and 285lbs of tourque.

4v 4.6 are 305. and 315....

but there modular motors too...

of course there gonna have better gas milage..

and 5.0's with that low of a hp... with 3.55's is not enough.. put 4.10s in it... and get the most outta that 215

is there a benifit of the 5.0 over the mod?

if not maybe is should just go with a mod instead.

you wont notice a dif in MPG with that change. their cars are just better lol but seriously i wouldnt look to get great MPG with a 5.0 motor esp the 94-95

yeah the most ive ever seen in my 95 vert is about 10!!!!!

but i think it because of the chrome 19's( but i already sol them and am about some 98 cobra rims!!

, maybe it should go up a bit)

Man, that's horrible! I get 12 in the city and around 17 on the highway, and I have a 351 with a decently wild cam.

I wouldn't go to 3.55's. I have 3.55's, and the RPM's are too low for me. On the highway, I am stuck between 4th and 5th gear driving at 70ish.

If you're only getting 10mpg I think you'd better have your O2 sensors checked out. That's definitely abnormal. I get 14 in the city and 18 on the highway with a 3.73 and an automatic tranny.

yeah i know and i have to use my car for work, so my boss is getting pissed that he spends like 60 a week just on gas for on me.

shouldn't i get a check engine code? what are the signs of a bad o2

hopefully i think all my car needs is a good tune up.

Dont waist your time you'll hate the3.55 you'll loose take off and wont see anything in fuel economy gain. If your worried about gas mileage buy a honda for a couple hundered bucks.
