Fuel pressure and check engine light

Ive got a 95 gt with a cai, cobra intake manifold, 70mm Tb, 255lph fuel pump,BBK adjustable FPR, headers, off road H, and flows, and gears and so on.. basically bolt ons and am wondering what i should i should be running around for fuel pressure? i cant seem to get it just right i think stock is like 39 but i dont know if that will be too rich with as much air as i have going in and out now.. also i have a check engine light that comes on when i have been driving for maybe a few minutes i think it has something to do with the EGR because i had to remove it when i did the intake manifold swap and thats when it started coming on, but i had an EGR simulator and it still comes on and i even ordered another one and tried it and it still comes on, it almost seems to run better when the light comes on though, is this normal?

Since you still have stock unported heads and a stock cam, the fuel pressure should be set at the stock 39psi.

fuel pressure should be at 39. You're getting a CEL because you haven't deleted the EGR out of the computer. The simulators aren't worth the money. Do you have any plans to get the car tuned?

Dude, it cleans it up alot. If you delete the EGR and all that pollution shit on the passenger side plug changes are MUCH easier. When I put the 347 in I got rid of all that crap and plugged the holes in the back of the heads. I can't believe that I'm getting 20mpg combined city/hwy with it. Granny driving of course, nothing over 70.
