leaking axle seal question
I just drove to the Detroit area from chicago and when i got here I noticed my axle seal is leaking the ford dealer said I was fine to drive home with it like that to fix it back in chicago just wanted to know your thoughts on if this will be a safe trip???? Ford said it isnt leaking real bad so it will be fine but I dont trust people from the dealer sometimes......

Its 250 miles back home and no they didnt top it off but it isnt leaking bad the rim is a little wet from it but its not caked on the Ford guy said it wasnt bad at all but needed to be fixed as soon as possible. I quess im gonna try to make it and hope for the best.

i think you'll be good for a 250 mile trip. but get it fixed as soon as you get home for sure! good luck!!!
