Power steering pump or pulley squeak
My power steering pump or pulley is chirping / squeaking.
1994 5.0 After spraying some silicone spray where the pulley meets the shaft, it will stop for a few minutes. Question: Since the pulley is pressed on, does it have bearings, or are the bearings in the pump itself? I am 100% sure it is either the power steering pulley or the pump! I am not sure which one to replace, or both.

the bearings are in the pump itself if i'm remembering correctly so you'll need to replace the whole pump. you can reuse the pulley.

i seem to have the same problem with my upper pulley any chance is can get it out or i have to change the whole thing any i ideas .

If it gets worse you might wanna replace it, mine locked up and left me stranded on the highway since its a single belt system and made the belt stop the crank. I know O'reilly's has em for about $100 and it only takes twenty minutes tops to switch the pumps out
