I want to build my engine first, then mod everything else on my car. As of now I'm just getting idea's so I know what the cost of everything is going to be so I know how much money I need to save up. And yes, 700+ horse power. Where do I get a world or dart 351w block?

That is backwards and isn't going to work. You can't put a 700+ hp engine in a car and not do anything with the fuel system or chassis. An inadequate fuel system will melt the engine down and a stock chassis will crumple with that kind of power. Not to mention the transmission and drivetrain. If you are not going to do everything at once then you need to start with the car and then build the engine last. Suspension, roll cage and fuel system.

You can get a Dart block anywhere. Summit, Jegs, Ford Strokers, etc.

I'm not going to put the engine in until I mod the rest of my car. I just want to build it first, mod my car, then put it in. I'm getting a new transmission soon because my t5 is almost history. Basically I'm just getting some opinions and ideas for something to do after I get out of the marine corps. If I can get the new transmission then buy the block to get started I think I'll be in good shape. Thanks for the info.

So you are going to put an engine together and let it sit around to collect dust, dirt and rust for at least a year or so until you get the rest of the car done?

Good luck on your build....

Not exactly. I was just going to let the block sit around until I got the parts. Just send me a link to the best 351w block you can get in your opinion.

Lets just stick to the topic please lol. If we took the time to correct everyones online spelling or typing errors then we wouldn't have time to discuss anything.
